ALTOS DE TAMARON

Altos de Tamarón Crianza
It is a wine in which the aromas of black red fruits, cocoa, tobacco and spices predominate. With an attractive, well-covered and lively garnet cherry color, it has a smooth entry and with a good flavor on the palate. After cold maceration for 2 days, the must ferments at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine spends 14 months in new American oak barrels and a subsequent period of 9 months in the bottle.

COLOUR. Deep cherry red with touches of violet.
AROMA. This wine exhibits aromas of black fruits, cocoa, tobacco leaves and spices.
PALATE. Offering a harmonious blend of red fruitiness, subtle aging characteristics, oak influence, spices, and a medium to full-bodied, well-structured profile. Creamy and wrapping palate with a long and elegant aftertaste.

Altos de Tamarón Reserva
The vines that provide the raw material for this wine only produce 4 or 5 bunches, which gives an idea of their quality. It is a powerful, broad and harmonious wine of a cherry red color with a medium layer ocher rim. After fermentation there is a post-fermentation maceration for 10 days and then 24 months in French and American oak barrels before bottling. Subsequently, the wine undergoes a 12-month bottle maturation period to complete its aging cycle.

COLOUR. Deep shaded cherry red with touches of brown.
AROMA. This wine exhibits elegant and powerful aromas on the nose.
PALATE. The palate is complex, powerful and full bodied; perfectly integrated. These can include notes of cherries, blackberries, plums, and possibly hints of dried fruit. It also feature spicy notes like black pepper, cloves, or cinnamon.

Altos de Tamarón Gran Reserva
The selected grapes come from 40-year-old vines whose vines produce a maximum of 4 or 5 small, loose bunches. Complex wine with a balanced and harmonious palate. The grapes are carefully selected and picked by hand. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 26-28ºC to ensure optimum aromatic potential before undergoing a 10-day maceration process. This ensures that the wine acquires its characteristic color and polished tannins. Finally, the wine rests for 24 months in French and American oak barrels before being bottled. The bottles continue their maturation process for 3 years to guarantee a complete and harmonic maturity.

AROMA. This wine exhibits elegant and powerful aromas on the nose, with black pepper, sweet spices and ripe plums.
PALATE. Gran Reserva wines often display a wide range of red and dark fruit flavors. You may encounter notes of ripe cherries, blackberries, plums, and possibly hints of dried fruit. Aging in oak barrels adds flavors of vanilla, toast, and sometimes even a touch of coconut. These oak-driven characteristics enhance the wine’s structure and provide a pleasant layer of complexity.
