The name of Domaine leads us to believe that wine has already produced the are the time of the Benedictine Abbey built in the 17th century. The vine were spread out over the small hills or valleys once reffered to as combes, around the building. The vineyard of Saint Emilion are some of the most renowned in the world.
In 1999 the Jurisdiction of Saint Emilion was the first vineyard area to be designated of a world heritage.

Vieux Château des Combes Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
VARIETY. 92% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc
COLOUR. Deep coloured and clear ruby-red robe with pink highlights.
AROMA. This wine has an elegant nose which is complex with aromas of red fruit.
PALATE. On the palate the structure is soft, well-balanced with silky tannins and notes of jammy fruit.
