Our winemaking philosophy is based on creating characterful, authentic and consistent wines. The winemakers and viticulturists at Viña Undurraga work
together as a dynamic team to express the identity and quality of our vineyards through each and every one of our lines of wines. They do this through meticulous management of the vines and outstanding care in the production of the wine.
While each of our lines bears the personal stamp of its winemaker, Undurraga wines all have one thing in common: each seeks to faithfully represent the character of the grape variety it is made from and its place of origin. And, above all else, we prioritize good balance, fruit expression and fine quality.
Our wines are the product of grapes grown in particular areas of Chile. Our main winery is located in the Maipo Valley, Chile’s most prestigious and traditional wine-producing area. We also have vineyards in the mains viticulture valleys in Chile like, Leyda, Colchagua, Cachapoal and Maule. Some are well-established wine-producing areas, while others have been recently discovered and are growing in popularity. This diversity of terroirs enables Undurraga to offer an interesting range of wines.
CHARDONNAY

SAUVIGNON BLANC

COLOUR. It has a pale colour with green tones and is fruity.
AROMA. Floral and exciting aroma.
PALATE. The palate is elegant with a crisp, dry finish.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON

CARMÉNÈRE

AROMA. Exuberant fruit aromas.
PALATE. Soft and smooth, with notes of dark plum.
MERLOT

COLOUR. It has a ruby colour with violet tones.
AROMA. A soft, supple red with a fruit driven bouquet of ripe.
PALATE. Soft and velvety, with notes of cherries.
SPARKLING BRUT
GRAPE VARIETY. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir.
COLOUR. Pale yellow with an intense, bright sheen.
AROMA. Notes of autumn fruit such as apples and quince.
PALATE. Dry with balanced acidity, leading to a perfect finish.
SPARKLING DEMI SEC
GRAPE VARIETY. Chardonnay.
COLOUR. Light yellow in colour with green hints.
AROMA. Fruity, reminiscent of the sweetness of an apple and pear compote.
PALATE. Fresh and fruity palate with a good finish.
CARMÉNÈRE

GRAPE VARIETY. Carménère.
COLOUR. This wine is a deep red colour with violet hues.
AROMA. It has great aromatic expression, with upfront aromas of ripe red fruit like cherries, along with hints of spice, black pepper and black olives.
PALATE. The palate is elegant with ripe, well-rounded tannins and hints of dark chocolate and nutmeg. It has good body, a fat, creamy mouthfeel and is persistent in the finish.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON

GRAPE VARIETY. Cabernet Sauvignon.
AROMA. The nose is dominated by black fruit aromas like blackberries and red fruit such as cherries and raspberries, enveloped in toasty notes of tobacco and subtle hints of cedar and liquorice.
PALATE. In the mouth it is smooth-textured with plenty of firm, concentrated and well-integrated tannins. This is a wine with style, character and body. The finish is long and the wine has great ageing potential.
